The foundation stone of the new Rovitex factory has been laid

On April 17th 11.00 am the fondation stone of the new, almost 4.000 m² factory and logistics center of Rovitex Homedeco Group was ceremonially laid in Pécs. The investment exceeds 700 million HUF (cca. 2,5 million EUR), and the resources of the company are completed by tendered and bank funds. Th ebuilding is planned to be ready by this autumn. Rovitex wishes to promote also the local economy with his investment: cunstruction is carried out with the cooperation of local companies, and the new factory will create additional job possibilities int he region.

Thanks to the continuous development, Rovitex Homedeco Group has “overgrewn” its current operational framework and therefore has started a green field investment in the newly forming southern industrial zone of Pécs. Passing over the phase of planning, the foundation stone of the building was ceremonially laid on the 17^th of April, 11.00 am, placing also a time capsule in the foundation concrete, containing the message of the company to the future.

The logistics center operating in the almost 4.000 m² complex start working already this autumn. The home textile production unit will start with test oparetion, while in 2014 will run at full capacity.

Mr. Csaba Nagy vice mayor of Pécs has stated that Rovitex is the first new investment in the southern area close to the M60 highway where a new industrial-commercial zone will be settled and development of the area is predicted. He has emphasized in his speach that already from the beginning the project was involving local companies, thus improving the local economy. During the operation additional jobs are created, contributing to the development of the city and the region. he was explicitly mentioning the CSR activity of Rovitex, with special regard to the support he has given to the renovation of Balokányliget.
